General information

The operators of this website takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We handle your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations as well as this Data Protection Declaration.

A range of personal data is collected when you use this website. Personal data means data with which you can be personally identified. The present Data Protection Declaration explains what data we collect and what we use this for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.

We draw your attention to the fact that the transfer of data over the internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security loopholes. The seamless protection of data from third-party access is not possible.

The following information provides an overview of how your personal data is handled when you visit our website. For detailed information on the topic of data protection, please see our Data Protection Declaration presented below this text.

Data Protection Declaration

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?

Data processing on this website is performed by the website operator. His contact details are set out in the legal notice of this website.

How do we collect your data?

On the one hand, your data is collected when you report this to us. This may constitute, for example, data that you enter in a contact form. This data is provided on a voluntary basis. We use the data you make available to us merely to process your enquiry, and erase this thereafter. Please note that your entries in the contact form are transferred without encryption and that viewing or alteration by third parties cannot be excluded.

Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when the website is visited. This relates above all to technical data (for example internet browser, operating system or time of the website visit). This data is collected automatically, as soon as you enter our website.

This comprises

  • version of the browser software
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server enquiry
  • content of the request
  • transferred data volume
  • IP (anonymised)

The provider uses the protocol data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating, securing and optimising the service.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected in order to ensure that the website is provided without error. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.

What rights to your data do you have?

You have the right at any time to obtain free information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your saved personal data. You also have the right to demand the rectification, blocking or erasure of this data. If you have any questions about this, or questions on other aspects of data protection, you may contact us at any time using the address provided in the legal notice. In addition, you have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority.

Analysis tools and tools of third-party providers

Your surfing behaviour may be evaluated when you visit our website. This is done above all with cookies and with so-called analysis programs. As a rule, your surfing behaviour is performed anonymously; the surfing behaviour cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent this by not using specific tools. Detailed information is set out in the following Data Protection Declaration.

You can object to this analysis. This Data Protection Declaration informs you about the options that are available to you to object.

The data controller for data processing on this website is:

Jakob LÖWER, owner of Schumann GmbH & Co. KG
Am Wasser 4
D-34576 Homberg/Caßdorf
Tel. +49-(0)5681-99040

The data controller is the natural person or legal entity who alone or together with others decides on the purpose and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, e-mail addresses or similar).

Revoking your consent to data processing

Many data processing procedures are possible only with your express consent. You may revoke consent that has already been given at any time. An informal e-mail sent to us will suffice. The lawfulness of the data processing performed before consent is revoked will not be affected by the revocation.

Right to complain to the competent supervisory authority

In the event of statutory data protection breaches, data subjects have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for statutory data protection issues is the regional data protection officer of the federal German state in which our company has its registered domicile. A list of the data protection officers as well as their contact data is provided in the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Objection to marketing mails

Use of the contact details published within the context of the obligatory legal notice to send advertising and written information that has not been expressly requested is herewith contradicted. The website operators expressly reserve the right to take legal measures in the event of the unrequested forwarding of marketing information, for example in the form of spam e-mails.

Data processing in conjunction with application procedures

We process and use your personal data to process your application. You can send your application details to us by e-mail. Please note that if you send your application electronically, the e-mail will be sent without encryption and that the data may, under certain circumstances, be viewed or even altered by unauthorised parties. Alternatively, you are also welcome to send your documents to us by post. If you have applied for a specific position, and this has already been filled or we deem you to be equally or more suitable for another position, then we would like to forward your application within our company. Please let us know if you do not consent to this procedure. After the application process has ended, although at the latest after 12 months, your personal data will automatically be deleted, unless you expressly approve the storage thereof for a longer period.

Cookies

The websites sometimes use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies serve to make our services more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are deposited on your computer and stored by your browser.

Most of the cookies used by us are so-called session cookies. These are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete these. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser next time you visit.

You can set your browser in order to be notified about the placement of cookies, and can permit the acceptance of cookies only on a case-by-case basis or can generally exclude this, and can also activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser closes. If cookies are deactivated, the functions of this website may be restricted.

Cookies that are required to perform electronic communications or to provide certain functions desired by you (e.g. shopping basket function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically faultless and optimised provision of his services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies used to analyse your surf behaviour) are stored, these are detailed separately in this Data Protection Declaration.

Amendment of the Data Protection Declaration

We reserve the right to amend the Data Protection Declaration in order to bring this into line with changed legal circumstances or in the event of changes to the service or data processing. This only applies, however, to Data Processing Declarations. Insofar as the consent of users is necessary or sections of the Data Protection Declaration contain rules governing the contractual relationship with users, changes shall be performed only with the consent of users.

Users are kindly requested to keep themselves informed at regular intervals about the content of the Data Protection Declaration.
